Is your TomTom entirely up-to-date? We’ll provide you with a complete list of NavCore 8 updates available for the GO, ONE and RIDER. This way you can be sure your TomTom is running the most recent version of the navigational software.

The most recently released versions are on top of the list. On the bottom of this post you’ll read some more information on how to install these updates via TomTom HOME desktop application.

Comments: Update for GO x20 and x30. Most important changes are support for new IQ Routes 24/7 (in maps version 8.15 and above) and the option of now using SDHC memory cards (8 GB and higher).

Meant for:	GO 740 LIVE and 940 LIVE
NavCore-version:	8.203 (build 9717)

Comments: Minor update for TomTom GO x40. Contains only small bugfixes and improvements, no new features.

Meant for:	GO 740 LIVE and 940 LIVE
NavCore-version:	8.203 (build 9715)

Comments: NavCore 8-version which shipped with the first GO x40's.

Meant for:	GO 520, 720 (T) and 920 (T)
NavCore-version:	8.010 (build 9369)

Comments: Major update for GO 520, 720 (T) en 920 (T). Identical build as released on 5th June for other devices. ATTENTION: Lane Guide Assistance and IQ Routes only function on GO x20 IF combined with the newest 810-maps!

Meant for:	GO x30 & x20, XL 2008, ONE 2008, ONE XL (HD) and ONE 3th
NavCore-version:	8.010 (build 9369)

Comments: First backwards compatible version of NavCore 8. Major update for GO x20, XL 2008, ONE 2008, ONE XL (HD) and ONE Third Edition. ATTENTION: Traffic Lane Assistance and IQ Routes ONLY function with GO x30!

Meant for:	GO 530, 730 (HD/T) and 930 (HD/T)
NavCore-version:	8.002 (build 9117)

Comments: Minor update for TomTom GO x30. Contains several small bugfixes and improvements, no new features.

Meant for:	GO 530, 730 (HD/T) and 930 (HD/T)
NavCore-version:	8.000 (build 9113)

Comments: NavCore 8-version which sipped with first batch of GO x30's units.

Installation

If you want to install the most recent version of TomTom’s NavCore onto your device, you’ll need to have TomTom’s HOME desktop application installed onto your computer. Click HERE for more information on how to download and install TomTom HOME.

Every time you connect your PND to your computer via USB, HOME will automatically check if you are using the most recent version of NavCore.

Should be there be a new version available, it will show up on your screen. Make sure to select the update then, and click ‘Download Updates’.
Important: do NOT undock/unplug your device from the computer until the installation has been completed! You will be notified on when to do so.

After downloading and installing the software, your TomTom GO, ONE or RIDER will be completely up-to-date once again…

	You would have thought they would have at least called it V8.003 or something other than the one everyone has been using for a while, even if it is pretty good.

	Yes, I know...so you think that TT would have made it look like they had read all the reported bugs and tried to do something about them. But no, they just let everyone have the version with bugs etc. So what was the point of beta testing it is what I am getting at.... in a very unclear way.

The next one I don't think will be a TT! They have got too greedy. Ahh or is that just because of the maps for now? Edit: I see from other posts that it is! Not so clear in the report that!!
