I recently bought a Nuvi 310 UK/Ireland with UK/IRL maps. It shipped with V8 maps so I was able to order a dvd from Garmin website with v9 maps. When I unlocked the DVD the Garmin site says I have fully unlocked all european regions. When I tried to order another region (France) on the Garmin website it says I have already unlocked all regions. However if I transfer any of the French maps from the DVD to an SD card the unit does not recognise the street level mapping, only the main roads that ship with the unit. Any ideas what is going on and how I either access or purchase French maps ?
